Why We Created the Shorty Collection

The original idea was simple: we wanted to create a shorter bag charm that worked beautifully with clear stadium bags.

Stadium bags are practical, but let’s face it — they can feel a little plain.

We wanted something that could add personality without overwhelming the bag. Something playful, polished, and easy to clip on before heading to a game, concert, or event.

The Shorty Collection was our answer.

Shorter in length than many of our other Mary Carrie charms, these designs were created to bring just the right amount of color and detail to smaller bags.

And once we started styling them, we realized something else.

The Shorty Collection started with a very practical question:

How can we make a stadium bag more fun?

And, as often happens with design, one idea quickly turned into another.

We began experimenting with shorter lengths, different color combinations and new ways to make these charms work beyond game day.

That process is one of our favorite parts of creating Mary Carrie.
